Interior painting

I know this has probably been asked before, but I can't find it anywhere, so I'll have to ask! I'd like to paint random pieces of my interior red, and was wondering what the bes stuff would be, and how to go about it. Some have said acylic spray paint, some have said any paint, etc etc. Do I have to rough the surface up first? Also, if you have done this, post pics!!! Thanks again guys (& gals) w/out you my car would have so many problems!!!

The key to geting the paint to stick is prepping. You gotta make sure all the armor all and dirt is off the plastic. Try to get a gallon of Pre Cleaner. Most paint supply stores have this and maybe even Walmart. This stuff cleans off wax and anything else so paint can be applied. I have used this stuff for years on all sorts of parts and it hasnt ruined anything. Body shops use it to clean off the car just prior to painting it. Also make sure you paint your panels in a temps above 50 or so. Just read the can. Also, any arerosol paint can be used

Duplicolor works well for interior vinyl. I know you can get it at autozone. Not sure about other places.
