Welcome to the boards, stick around here and you will learn sooo much about 3rd gens.Yes but you will need to swap the complete front end. I.E. the hood, fenders, bumpers, and headlight epquipment. Do you have any junk yards near you with firebirds? It would be a whole lot eaiser to get firebird parts and not have to swap out so much stuff.

there are junk yards but l don't like the firburd front end. and the ro clip is free. i would rathe use a free front end and put the money into the motor. I'm sure it needs it if the car is $300. the pitta is probally a six cylinder.

Just remember you will need to use all camaro frontend parts. The camaro bumper will not bolt up to a firebird fender nor will a camaro hood work on a firebird fender without some modifications to the hood. I'm not sure but you might need to get the wiring harness for the head lights but I'm not positive on that. Either way it will be a pitta, and plus you will have a mixed car too, I would be awesome if you could cut the rear quarter to fit the tail lights of the camaro and fill in the rear quarter marker light so it would look just like a camaro and put on the gfx's and camaro rear bumper.

Man if you want a camaro then buy one. There will be too much time and effort spent changing this firebird to a camaro. Just wait, I am sure a camaro for a good price will pop up locally. As well if you don't want a V-6, you should wait for a reasonable priced V-8 car. A v-8 swap would require a donor car, and well instead of buying two cheap cars, you should maybe invest in one car of equal value then work from there.
