Transmission: 5 spd.
In restoring other (non gm) vehicles, I've ALWAYS found it better to go OEM if I could.

what year, what car, and which fender??? I happen to have a GM OEM, thats still in the box, front left fender for an 82-84 T/A I should sell...
edit: I guess I should have answered your question, YES buy OEM GM, its the only way to go unless they quit making it... Small things like rotor caps, and spark plugs the Japanese do not have a problem with, but when it comes to big fenders, they have no clue...
in short, take these guys advise, get GM, new or used...

The after market fenders very seldom fit correctly and the quality is suspect. If price is a factor, go to a salvage yard and buy a good used GM fender. You will thank yourself. Just my experience and two cents,Dave

I'd buy a used GM fender before I ever wasted my money on an aftermarket piece. My father owns a body shop, and every time he puts an aftermarket panel on, he bitches and swears that he's never using aftermarket again. They fit like sh*t, they look like sh*t and they don't hold up well.
