I guess it's my turn to bring this back from the grave.
Mark... originally I had considered using the handles from a mid 80's CRX which are similar to the probe. I decided against it for the same reasoning.. I really didn't want to cut on my ¼ panel. I may consider it for my camaro in the future though but, body work for it's a long way off.
I actually got off my lazy **** and did some work tonight.
After the clear quits being sticky, I might finally start putting the door back together (seals, trim, etc. ) Still have to do the other side, gfx and mirrors yet but hey, it's something reomtly close to progress huh ?

Hey deadbird, looking sharp. Your bodywork looks nice and straight.
I'm waiting on my new doors to arrive truck freight from North Carolina. As soon as they're here I'm going to disassemble them and start cutting on 'em.

Synthetik... I'd like to watch you do that though
Thanks 383.. you'd almost, sort of, kinda think I knew what I was doing huh ?
A word of warning, do not, if ever you planned on it in the future, buy the outer window belt w'strip from JCWhitney (or probably anyone else for that matter). I threw mine in the trash last night after getting really p.o'd. It only further reinforced my believe that OEM is the only weatherstripping to buy (regardless of cost) if you're expecting it to fit properly.
