HVAC Controls

What years HVAC control heads are all the same and what type of models were they put in? I wanted to put a different style in because mine doesnt have much backlighting at all and its starting to cause a vacum leak so it needs to be replaced. I want something with more lighting since I cant read anything on mine except the top right hand corner.

Instead of replacing, you might consider a xenon high-intensity 194 bulb (the light is much better but not wonderful). Also, if the vac leak is on the 'selector,' the replacement part is only a few dollars.
