pop up headlight gears

pop up headlight gears

Does anyone know a place that makes metal gears for the pop up headlights or does anyone know if these http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/headlightfix/ 4th gen gears would work?

You can also get bronze gears from Eckler's for about the same price as the ones from corvettecentral. However, most of the time it's not the gears that go out. It's the bushings inside. If you have them apart you'll see what I'm talking about. If you just want to get a cheap replacement to make your headlights work for another 10+ years go to your local parts house and check out the window motor repair kit for something like an early model Ford Explorer. I'm pretty sure they use the same gears that our headlights take.
