Body Filler question?
I have a question about body filler? Is there a product out there that adheres to stainless steel, and then when it hardens you can polish or chrome plate it? I'm dealing with some stainless that I welded two peices together, and then belt sanded down the weld so it would blend with the metal, now I have low and wavey spots. I need it to look like one piece so I can plate it.
any info would be greatly appreciated.

If its not too bad, the plater can go heavier on the copper coat and buff before doing the nickel/chrome...if its really bad, you might have to build up the weld and regrind. I know some fillers are conductive (for example, you can powdercoat over All Metal), but I don't know of any that can be plated over.
