When Seats Go Bad, But Not That Bad
Well my driver seat has been tilting back further and further and its driving me nuts and I thought I might have to change out the whole seat or even the upper portion ,But man have I got a quick fix that just might save you from having to buy new seats or even pay a moron a small fortune to fix it .
Apparently the mounting brackette that keeps the seat upright that supports your upper weight eventually bends especially when the seat gets old so if you have some pretty torn up seats but with good upright brackettes, replacement is real easy and with the seat removed out of the car its fast but if you leave the seat half way mounted in it can take up to 45 minutes, so trust me on this take the seat out and you will be done in 15 minutes or less so these pics might help
the red spots are the bolting points and the circle is where the brackette is bending at.
