can you turn a 4th gen consloe auto into a manual? With no fitting problems.
I need to know if I can get a 4th gen console automatic,and take out the indicator and make it into a manual with no fitting problems?

Car: 86 Trans Am, 88 Formula
Engine: 95LT4, 305TPI
Transmission: T56, T5
Well, to be a little more specific, you will need to either cut up the auto shift plate or buy a manual shift plate. I opted to buy one instead of hacking the one I had.

My car was never a TBI, it was carbed, then TPI'd and now LT4'd.
