Great car and killer price. To answer your question though I would go for a new hurst billet plus or comp plus short throw shifter with a qball stile shift ****. Will look great in combination with white face gauges.

Car: Hardtop 84' z/95' Cheyenne
Engine: 305 H.O./4.3L
Transmission: 5-speed manual/Auto
the handles that will fit are the 82-86 i think leather wrapped t handles
the 87-92 unwrapped t handles
the 82 , 83 handles w/ pontiac spearhead in the middle (my fav)
and some of the 93-97 firebird camaro handles will fit
I took my leather wrapped one and unwrapped it it looks great now , i did have to do some heavy cleaning but it looks really nice for now, i hope to get one of those 82 83 handles.

Jesus Kaga.... you're one lucky bastard. That body looks flawless. If I see you searching for aftermarket hoods and crap I'll slap you. Let's see some pics of the engine compartment and interior!!
