A gap at the top or the bottom? Could be your door sagging.

I'm not gonna say that this is what happened to your car, but it's what happened to mine. You haven't by any chance jacked up your car lately have you? Cuz, if you jack it up from the side where the jack points are, and you do this frequently, it's possible that the stress and weight has bowed your fender. Sounds kinda crazy, but that's when I noticed it on mine. It was right after I had jacked it up to do some brake work, and it stayed jacked for a period of time. I should have used jack stands instead. My mistake, and I paid for it. Has anyone else noticed this before?

I never jack my car up on that side of the car i aways do it in the driver side never had any problems. Only thing i can think of when its jacked up on that side is when my frineds shop has it on a lift which it was on a month ago when i had a new cat put on. It does sound posible tho. The back of the door by the handle is plush with the rear quarter pannel butthe fornt is off.

If i'm understanding you correctly, you will have to loosen all of the bolts on the top lip of the fender under the hood. The push in on the fender to get it flush with the door, then retighten the bolts. Glad to be of assistance!

yupper... i bought my car like that and thats what the guy said... if you look under the car where you jack it up... chances are you will see the "tab" on the frame bent... shouldn't be that hard to fix... haven't done so myself... but it should come back the same way it bent out...

and i'll ask bout this while i'm at it... where do you guys jack it up on that side? i don't wanna use that place cuz i don't want it to bend out more? you guys use a floor jack and jack from underneath the car further?

I just use a floor jack and put it under the lower A-arm out close to the tire.
