Nose
What about tossing a Iroc front nose on a sport coupe? How would it look? Do you need the GFX on the sides.
Here is my thinking, I can get a 82-84 Z nose cheap to toss on my broken nose. The z nose has GFX, how would it look on the rest of the SC? ANyone have any pics? I really do not want to go GFX all over..

Hey Man,
I think it would be kewl to upgrade your standard Camaro nose to a Z28 nose. One of my buddies has an 86 Camaro (standard) and he has the 85-90 Z28 nose on his. If I had a choice between the 82-84 nose or the 85-92 (same nose, different ground effects) nose.....I would go with the 85-92....they have that more aggressive lower look to me.....but go with what you like man. If you decide to do this......the impact plastic on your standard Camaro is different then from the Z28. You will have to use an electric "Saws All" if you can get ahold of one or you can use a regular hand saw. You will have to trim some of the plastic that's underneath your front nose so the other nose will fit good. If you don't trim and cut the plastic.....it looks crappy and the nose looks all warped and stuff. Let me know if you decide to do this dude, thanks!

Well.....the 82-84 nose doesn't look to bad....since you don't have the side ground effects....But......I like the looks of a 1991-92 10 times better then the 82-84 front nose. I changed the whole nose, the back bumper, the quarter panel ground effects, and the side ground effects.....all to 1991-92. And added the 1991-92 Aero Spoiler. Then again......it's all a matter of opinion.

Actually, the 82-84 Z nose and the 85-92 Z nose are totally different. Take a closer look at each, and you will see it. You might want to do a little more homework in the future before you tell a person asking a question something that is false.

evere Camaro i see has GFXs and to me its geting old... if i saw a SC with the 82-84 z28 nose and no GFXs Id Trun my head and go wow thats Diffrent..... Camaors with Out GFXs look good Its just the stock Nose looks wrong on the car...
But thats just what i think Im sure evere one on this site thinks way diffrent than i do

Yeah....I see what your saying....everyone has there own opinion....but if I was going to change a whole nose....(pretty big job) I would go ahead and put the side ground effects on it and the back bumper. I had an 84 (Z28 L69 H.O.).....I liked the ground effects for awhile....and decided to restore the whole car. But...I loved the looks of the 91-92....so...I made it look like one.....I had the Big Block Stinger hood on it (91-92 Aero spoiler)...Installed TA lower fender vents (seamless)....had it lowered 1 3/4 inches.....it was one of the baddest around here....as far as looks go. I was on my way to autozone one day....and an 83 year old b*tch rearended me......totaling the whole car....and now my back is screwed up....now...we have to sue her and all of this. So.....I had to get another car. I ended up getting a 1991 Z28 5.7 Tuned Port Injection (L98) all black with power everything....I just ordered an ASCD SS hood for it. I'm going to try to make it just as good as my 84.....if not better

if i was gonna go add a new nose and ground effects to a car with none, i would just go all out and go straight for the 91,92's. in my opinion which is not worth that much ne camaro looks betters with those!
