Trunk Cover?

Is their any year camaro that came with a rollup trunk hider, or some sortta device to hide what is in the "trunk"?? If not, has anyone made a device like this??

Also, besides a salvage yard, where is a good place to get true fitting floor mats?? Will 4th gen fit in 3rd gen properly?? Them aftermarket "universal" ones just dont fit the way I like.

Thanks

The cargo cover was available on every year I think. They can be found often on ebay or at a local pick-a-part. You'll need to grab the plastic end pieces that screw into the plastic trim at the sides. They actually screw into a piece of sheet metal that is spot-welded to the body, but a lot of people forego the extra step of getting that piece and welding or in my case pop-riveting it in place. The location of the hole to cut in the trim panel is easily determined. Pull off those panels and you'll see the indentation molded on the inside. Use a Dremel of hot utility knofe to trim the hole out. There is also a metal reinforcement piece that mounts to the inside of the upper rear hatch trim piece. You cut out 2 "T" shaped slots for the cargo cover to snap into.

I got a great set of fitting floormats from 1a Auto. I got them the same time I got my carpet from them. They matched perfectly and were molded to fit perfectly. They were about $70 for the the set, both front and back. I dont' think the universal mats would work to well considering the curveture of our floor board.

Also I have an extra roll up cargo cover that I can sell and I have the mounts and the hatch trim to go along with it. Although the trim peice is red. Let me know if your interested.
