front nose and all components
i m goin to buy a 1990 rs for $200 but it has slight front end damage. the nose is screwed the impact absorber is screwed
and the one metal piece under that is screwed. my question is would it be cheaper to go to junk yards and salvage parts off other cars or just by brand new? also does any one have these parts for sale at a reasonable price? thanks alot for your time!! my email is henry.dorsey@verizon.net

It's definately going to be cheaper to get used, especially if you go to a pick-a-part and grab the stuff yourself. Question is, will you find what you're looking for in your area. You still would get a better price buying used from a supplier even, than new, that's common sense, used is cheaper.
You also have to consider this... the parts you want aren't that hard to remove, but it's time consuming, and you have to reach up from under the car to get to some of those nuts that need loosened near the top of the fender. Is it worth the trouble to you to spend 2 hours laying on the ground in a junkyard. Plus, some pick a parts that strip the cars down before dumping them, take the wheels off, so in that case, you may not even be able to get to the car from below (although most of these places rip the motor out too, so you could get to it from inside the engine bay, presumably. In the end, it's still going to be cheaper that way, but you might save yourself a little hassle, if a junk yard is just a tad bit more expensive than a pick a part type place.
In short, used is cheaper, but shop around.

Car: too many ...
I would say make sure there is no frame damage before getting into this project. Once you've verified the frame is good, then yes it will be cheaper to find used parts and do all the labor yourself. The only problem is that the paint might not match and you'll have to get that done (unless you can paint, then even better).

I am in the same situation as this guy except the nose and fender are included...What all is involved with replacing these...Also how do u check for frame damage? I am going to look at the car one more time and hopefully bring it home this week...The previous owner hit a ditch and messed it up? Anything else I should check?
