anyone ever replace their floorpan?

The floor on my driver's side is pretty rotted, my interior is coming out this weekend to install a roll bar and I have a parts car with a good floor. How much of a pain would it be to cut the floor from the parts car and my car and then weld in the new floor in my car?

If you only have some rusted spots, it wouldn't be too bad. Cut out the old rusted metal, clean with a wire wheel, spray with 3m Weld through coating, and MIg it in place. I'd reccomend coating it with POR 15 or some other good rustproofer when finished.
