Headliner
Anyone know if a 4th gen headliner will fit a 3rd gen? My husband thinks it will fit but were not sure. I dont feel like paying 100.00 bucks for this. Please someone let me know by Tuesday...

No idea... but that is an interesting question... I need a headliner too so I'd appreciate an answer to this. Are fourth-gen headliners noticably different than third-gens? Would it be more asthetically pleasing?

I don't think it would... have you seen the tech article on this website? There's an article in the thirdgen.org tech section on how to re-do the headliner. Also do a in the Body/Interior forum (this forum) for "headliner", a few guys have posted tips on it.

That won't work for me, I don't have the stock headliner.
Previous owner made something and put purple velvety crap all over it. Blah.

I love the junk yard where I live. Their really great to work with. I burned my old one cause it got folded and it was red. Maybe I should have kept the board oh wells.. I think I might just try and find a bunch of headliners and sell them.. My husband took to hatch motors and put them in his tool box so we got them for free.. And i know two people who would pay like 30 or 40 dollars for them.. I rock at finding deals let me tell you all. I got whole grey interior besides headliner and seats for 75.00.

I pulled a junkyard headliner.. it's in my car now. Thing was perfect!
A few months later, it started sagging... now, 2 years later, it looks like total ***. At least I can use the board... I gotta get to a fabric store. I hope I can find the exact color, or I'll have to redo the sunvisors and sail panels, too.
