Here's one for the folks using the 93-96 firebird console setup. Don't mind the automatic shift plate though, it's just to show where the cuts are.
If things thaw out here anytime soon, I am planning on taking my setup back apart to get some pictures of how I did it. (the car is under 8" of snow )

OK, the car is bare now i'm lost....
I cut the console, now how did you get the radio section cut like that to fit the console.......the hand saw is not working to cut it.......the heater vents are in the way and causing ALL SORTS OF PROBLEMS...
Now do i really need to connect the side panels of it at the bottom with those two screws?? It would make my life much easier if i didn't have too....
PLEASE share some help, the daily driver is out of comission.....

Did you use anything to hold the 4th Gen console down in the front???

I was going to reply a little sooner on this, but seemed like you had it worked out. Anyways, which console do you have? I am trying to remember if I used anything up front for mounting. I have done a chunk of the step-by-step text, now I guess it's time to take it back apart again and grab some pictures. I have some time off this week and am hoping to get some time to work on this mess.

If not, then i can just fab up some brackets to make it work.....

( I am assuming you are looking under the carpet to make sure there are no wires in the way hanging out underneath, there should be some under there for the console items)
