I just want to see how many people have the rear wiper on their 86 f-car. From what i understand there were like only 1500 cars made with them. That is including all models i think. Mine is an Iroc. I have the window sticker too with the option so i know it is not aftermarket. just curious, thanks

Yes you are correct. 1,566 Camaros with the Rear window wiper/washer option (RPO C25) Last year for it too.

Now, is that just camaros or did firebirds have them too? I know that it is not just an Iroc thing either because i have seen an SC with one as well as a Z28. I just saw them in public, i do not know them and i do not know if they were aftermarket but i am guessing that the number is for all camaro platforms!? It really is not any big deal, i doubt that my car will be more desired down the road but it is different! When i went to get my paint job two years ago, the guy had told me that he would "shave" off the rear wiper and thanks to this site, i said leave it! I had seen on this site the numbers on it. I just thought it was interesting, thats all, thanks.

I have only seen maybe two in person! Probally none in pictures or books/magazines, stuff like that. Maybe it will add some value to my car in like 100 years, 5 bucks possibly?!

I'm so glad my '86 didn't have one; if it did, it would've gotten ripped out and thrown out! Just tint your back window with 5% limo tint, you'll never use your rear window again.

It is tinted 5%, but it needs to be redone, it is kinda old! I just kept it on there for originality! All of the parts i take off of the car i am keeping for a numbers matching car! It may make no sense but i plan on keeping the car for as long as i can. The rear wiper isn't that big of a deal, i just kept it because that is what came with it stock!
