82 Camaro SC front end
hey guys... im new here.. i have an 82 camaro sc with that uglay front end and no ground fx. i am buyin a set of ground fx from a guy with a later ?85-92? camaro and possibly a front end. will this bumper cover fit right on mine? also how hard will these be to install? cuz i kno the front ground fx would look funky with that blunt nose so i need one from a z-28 or iroc... so whadda ya think?

Why would you have an '82 sc if you hate the front end and want ground effects? Instead, why not just get a later 85-92 with ground effects and the front end you like. It would be too hard to try to mount ground effects on a car that did not come with them because cars with ground effects have a special metal panel on the rocker panel to mount them on. In my opinon it would be alot easier that way! I bought my 83 sc for what it was, because I liked the no ground effects look and the front bumper cover. But, its your car, do whatever you want with it.

The GFXs arnt hard to put on...
all you need is hand tools a Drill and a welder, for the side metal panel...
but ITs not at all hard to do Im puting them on my 87 camaro
Alot of ppl on thirdgen have done the GFX swap and thay are all happy with the way it Truend out...
the only thing thats hard to do is to take the Front bumper off, and thats only cous there are so many blots to get to but even that not that hard.
