So i was under my car today and I noticed that theres some significant rust on the frame rail where the transmission crossmember bolts up on the passenger side. I figure this cant be good, especially on a 375+ hp car. What should I do about this rust? Would it be possibl to get a plate welded in there to give the x-member something stronger to hold onto? Anybody ever have this problem before, and if so, any good ideas? TIA.
