the paint job is unique. not something i would specifically request at the body shop, but it's still pretty nice looking

And as requested a few different shots of the checkers.

And the custom touch to the brake light. Yes it is still an 89 the 86 top mount was added beacuse I darked a lot of the original brake light for the bowtie and didn't want some fool ending up in the back of me.

Nice car & custom paint job.....

Maybe some rims should be next on the modifications....

My history is a bit sagging, but when did the RS model have TPI or did you do a swap or upgrade?

i also think you should get some rims, i think the car looks great and if very clean, i really like the paint too, not something you see everyday...those stock iroc rims gotta go though, some different rims would make that stand out a lot better.

Is that how you got the spoiler with the chevy emblem already in it or did you do it yourself.
Looks cool.

The bowtie tail light was just painted a place called custo-light did it for me although I hear they changed thier name. As a matter of fact if you find thier website they have my white one on display for the 3rdgens. I asked them to give it a go with mine and it worked so now they offer it. Thier prices have gone up but it is cheaper if you send yours in and just have it done.
http://www.custolight.com/custolight2/id1.html

The car is an RS which originally had a 305 TBI I swapped the 350 TPI,rear end, and suspension from a wrecked IROC and keep the T5 from the RS. The original interior was that wierd tan color.

Oh yeah and much agreed on the rims. I have some 4th gen salad shooters that I am going to put on as soon as I can get ahold of some good spacers.

P.S. u r sofa king we tah did--Nice job on your interior.
I stayed with the 3rd gen dash and center console because I like the plain "race car" look of the hard lines. I did have to steal 4th gen seats though much more comfortable and supportive on those hard turns!!

Car: 1987 iroc-z custom
Engine: 355 tuned port
Transmission: 5spd baby, only way to go
Axle/Gears: 3.45
looks nice..

id do that rear brake light conversion if i still had the stock spoiler..have to do something to make it look good..

the car looks really clean..but you do need rims..(maybe eagle alloys 203's?) and some eibachs..but they are only suggs and its your car so what you think is right, is all that matters.
