here's my spolier, I think it is the same one you got (if i can remeber that far back). I did some custom stripe work on the back side of the spolier too.

That is pretty pimp by far. I have yet to see a camaro in OKC with the stripes like that.

THat particular spoiler was used on all 85-92 Camaros (excluding about half of '88 and the 91-92 Z28s)

A spioler of the same nature, its a lot skinner, was used on some 82-84 Camaros.

Just had to point out that it wasn't only offered in '87

I happened to like the 85-90 T/A Wrap Around that I had on my car for a few weeks. I took it off to do bodywork, and am not putting it back I have plans to be seling the car anywayz...

Actually,

There were two camaro wrap around spoilers, one that was used from 82-84 and then used again in 91 & 92 (yes, it was the -same- one), and one used from 87-90 that had a third brake light in it. In 91, the third light was moved inside the hatch, so the old 3 pc spoiler was used again.

no, the 91-92 spoiler is the 85-90 without the third brake light. The 82-84 was really really skinny, take a good look at the 91-92, its the same size as the 85-90!

OK ok...I figured, I've done enough degrading bad camaro spoilers and decided to put some other spoilers that made me laugh. Also, the errr....55 gallon drum of an exhaust is just for kicks.

to get a good functional wing it must be tall enough to get into the air stream. So it must be tall but some of them go a little over board.

what is crazy, is when you see rice running aound town with the same monster wings on a front wheel drive car???? How dumb is that.

Least on a thirdgen it can actualy do something.

Yeah I agree, but if you honestly think about it. In 95% of all spoiler applications, it's hurting performance more than helping overall stability at hogh speeds. Now there is nothing wrong with adding a spoiler for the looks factor at all....just my personal preference to only use on my car what I need....by the way, i need the center and pass side pieces to the 3 piece wrap around spoiler for an 84 maro. If anyone has those 2 pieces laying around...

84,
I have those pieces, unfortunately there on my 83 Camaro parts car, and I don't have the key to the hatch... I think I will be breaking the key lock some day soon... I will be needing money soon...

I was wondering if anyone has a pic of an aluminum drag racing spoiler on their car. A few guys in my car club, (a stang, t bird, nova and satellite) have them and they look pretty sharp. I know S&W race cars offers a universal one that would probably work, but thats all i've seen.

The "aero" spolier is definitely my favorite. Not too big, but not too small, with good looks as well.
