Anyone replaced/repaired the kick/knee pad?

I'm not sure what its called exactly? The pad on the lower left part of the console that your leg rests against near the gas pedal. Mine has a few tears in it and I was wondering of the best way to go about fixing it? I noticed Paddocks replacement is $100, I'd rather avoid that. Is it easy to remove and have recovered? Any info is appreciated, Thanks

I would take it off and take it by a interior shop, they can custom fit a peice for it. Or if you have access to a sweing machine that can handle leather you could make a cover your self. Should be less the 100 dollars especially if you go with cloth instead of leather.
