new pictures of 4th gen dash
i moved some stuff, line up a little better. here is a passenger side shot. i still need to get the piece thats right up next to the windshield. the guy i got the dash from had one but it had a huge split in it, so it was no good.

the hvac control panel is gonna get drilled out and 3 gauges installed there. i moved the ecm to behind the dash and out of the way in the original location like the old dash. im working on putting the old 3rd gen hvac controls in the glove box. im going to have to turn the coolant valve cable but i think i can make it work. so that way i can put my compressor back on and still run a/c! i still have my a/c lines and a/c blower box on the car so all i gotta do is put the compressor on and charge it, since ive got the delete on now. i think im going to do that later today since ive got the compressor in the garage.

I am rather envious as well. I can't seem to find some one that just wants to hand me the dash, instrument cluster, HAVC, and everything else. Everyone seems to want money but who has that anymore...
Looks good. I can't wait until I can get the dash in mine.

Looking really good, perhapps since my car is becoming more of a project ever moment, I'll just go **** more cash on it and fond a 4th gen interior before manny gets to the junk yards round here first.
I think i might want to put the front end back on my car first however...

found it locally, guy wreck his car so i bought the dash from him. it was 130 for the dash not including the trim piece that sits right up underneath the windshield. its either a 94 or 95 dash, cant recall.

The airbag was blown and the cover stitched together.
Ya, your dash is either 94 or 95, in 96 they went to the 120mph cluster.

Hey man you left the a/c box in there and it all fit well ? If so did you connect the box to the vents ? I was thinking it may be possible to modify the box with some fiberglass to where it has some roun outlets and use small drier hose or something of the sort to connect to the vents, sound possible ?

yes i need a new steering wheel bad. as for the vents, yes i left the 3rd gen heater box and it all fit fine. glove box closes and everything. the vents are hooked up by attatching heater hoses to the box and running em to the vents. its not hooked up to every vent, id have to split the line and run more too the other ones, but they are hard to reach once the dash is on. my a/c uses the third gen controls mounted in the glove box. it wont reach the stock location on the new dash due to the cable being too short. all though i might try taking off the 4th gen cable and hooking it up to the third gen controls.

i like it, but i kinda like my 3rd gen dash better, more simple and lots of information. if it ain't broke, don't fix it. but some of the other thirdgens, like the earlier firebirds, the dash is just a$$ ugly. then i would do it, but :hail: to your effort! excellent job
