please help me get the door handle off!

Okay, so I'm trying to take out my broken driver's side interior door handle. I've gotten the door panel off and have access to the handle. I've tried to get the handle itself off with no luck. Do I have to take the entire bracket out

Thanks for your help,
Adam

it's been a while since I've done this , but as far as I remember you only have to remove two nuts (10mm I believe) and then remove the rod that is attached to the handle. (I believe it just twists itself out/pushes out).

hope it helps.

Well I got it out, so no need to reply. In case any of you are wondering, you take the entire bracket off. All you have to do is drill the rivet out or poke it out with a hammer and a pick. Then the inner door handle slides off the rod and you're ready to go.
