The Macco Solution

FINALLY! i talked to one of my friends today, after dreading the experience of getting my car painted at macco on my tight budget, my friend says, talk to jose man, i thought you knew him. well, i don't but i do now, so jose is gonna paint it up on the side for the cost of paint, 100 bucks and a case of beer. One more glimpse of hope, you can all find your own jose, just loook loooook loooooook. beer is cheap, and it's worth a paintjob.

I've found the soultion to macco myself I painted the SC myself,But you beat me on the price to get the car painted. For 355.00 my paint job came out great considering that I only went with the cheap 1 stage paint"I live in Arkansas on the back roads" The only damage I have gotten is when the county put tar and loose gravel over the highway and 3 18 wheelers that should have been going 35 on the road were going 60 instead and pelted my car with rocks I got 3 small chips on the hood, one tiny on the fender and 1 small one on the door, and a chip on my sail panel. Damn Polk county highway dept.

don't worry, jose owns his own collision shop. I've seen his work, and it's good. his bussiness has been thriving for a long time, so i think his work will be good. he likes to help out the young hot rodders, and he doesn't like imports either so i think it'll be good. I'll post but we already planned it for next spring, i will post pics though.

jose is going to wait for now. He said he'll shoot a nice slightly custom coat for fairly cheap(not the original prices we talked on). but i've seen his custom work and it's pretty good. for now, since the formula is going on the road in the next few weeks (my "reliable" car overheated for the 2nd time ) i'm going to do a rushed touch up job on it. Just to get it decent. Top of the doors (above the molding) sail panels, top half of the rear quarters and fenders/hood. should be a pretty quick job, just done right in the driveway. wish me luck!
