so there is no way to attach it to maybe the floor or something.
and my seatbelt i have now is crapping up, and is staying locked when im trying to pull it out, it takes a least half a minute to get the seatbelt to buckle, so i wouldn't mind messing with it.
but i just want something to hold me better..

Warning
It is strongly recommended that the shoulder harnesses are fitted as close to horizontal as possible. It is a must that the angle of the shoulder harness does not exceed 45 degrees in relation to the theoretical horizontal axis of the mounting points. It is recommended that the harnesses be mounted to the fixing points suggested by the car manufacturer. The fixing points should always be reinforced by a steel plate fitted on the outer side of the car, not by welding or pop riveting. After an accident or a heavy crash, it is a must to replace the harnesses and carefully recheck their fixing points in the car. Belts do not have to be in contact with parts that damage it. Should the belt show any wearing or cuts, it must be immediately replaced. Motor sports are dangerous. No warranty or representation is made as to product's ability to protect the user from any injury or death . The user assumes that risk. Some products are only legal for use on racing vehicles which may never be used upon a highway. Always check local laws before use.

I don't know if you can make anything of that image but what its showing is that the back belts should be fastened high enough to not just fold up with you in case of an accident. You can attach the back belts to the rear shoulder belt area. In my case I have welded in plates for a bolt in roll bar that I use when I have the rollbar out of the car and I use that to bolt to. There have been articles on this. One was where they install a tube just to attach the belts around and it ran along the upper tray area. I thing LG motorsports might sell one even. I can't remember.
There was also an article written by a member with an 84 Trans Am where he bolted it to the upper seat area with the necessary backing plates. http://www.ws6transam.org/harness.html
The best support for this is what Jsa said. A roll bar. I had one in my 89 RS with a harness belt when I had an "off road trip", spun and flipped. The roll bar and harness make you fell very secure after an incident like this. And....it also crash tested my welding of the roll bar. LOL (I'm not a pro like EDE)

i thought about mounting it to that rear hump behind the seats..
im just worried about those few times i have passengers.. Heck i drive with both the rear seats folded down most of the time anyways.. BUt i guess i can just use the regular belt in case someone needs to ride back there??
also. do u guys think a 4 point harness with 2" belts will be good enough? im lite guy, only 150lbs. so i don't think im gonna have that much force in a wreck..

They do make floor mount harnesses...they are in summit
Simpson 62" floor mount...Y type...price 169.95 pn : SIM-29100
They actually have lots of the floor mount types...for those you dont have to have a roll cage. I was going to install racing harnesses without a rollcage, but then realized i would be installing a cage later...so why install two harnesses!
but just lookin in summit and measure how much you would need to mount it with, then call summit and they will hook you up
