assembling the rear window louver

i got a complete set of the DE1 rear window louvers with the mounting clips, support legs, etc. i am going to put them on my iroc here soon. i know there is some kind of stuff that you use when you slide the center slats on the side pieces to keep them from rattling. i what to know what is the best stuff to use here. can i get the original type stuff or is there something from the parts store that i can use. what stuff did you guys use and did they rattle when you got them together. any other recommendations would be helpful too to keep them from rattling. thanks.
