They're asking 4000, you offer about 2700, you settle around 3300. Ehhh, I guess it's not bad, it just seems a little high to me. In North Carolina you could get a equally equipped Iroc for about that much.

Over priced. If you're gonna be spending $4K, buy a Z or an IROC (if you want a Camaro) or a TA if you like birds too.

I think it Might be worth 3500 but that would be Canadian but definatly not 4000US especially for a SC. but at leats its not an L03 but insted a LG4, they are decent right?

I have an LG4 and I'd rather have an LO3, but an LB9 or L98 would be MUCH better. LG4s (I think) had about 170hp... that's like 30 more ponies than a 2.8L, so that's not good... the only reason my car feels faster than a 160hp Turbo Saab (friend's car) is because of low end torque only a V8 can make! So no, $4K is a rip off! I paid $3K for mine and that was too much, lol! Shoulda been more like $2500; if you could get it for $2200 it'd be better.
Later,
Chris

I gave 1900.00 for my 85 SC in a similar condition. And If you want you can change the body style to an 88SC like I did to mine. I wouldnt pay no more than 2500.00 for the SC.

i agree and disagree. i payed 2500 for my 86 SC that seems to be similarly optioned other than transmission. if the paint is good on that one i think 3000 would be somewhat reasonable. i might have payed a hair to much for mine but overall i am happy. i just think the guy took advantage of my mom when she bought it(i was out of town and didn't get to go with her to test drive etc. so i didn't have much of a say) but honestly if it runs good paint and int are good. i would say 3000 seems fairly reasonable.
