Hood replacement
Well, I think I've missed out on that "Parts" car I posted about earlier... But that's okay, because I'd still need to ask (since the car didn't have the hood anyways.)
I pulled a dent out of the front 1/4 panel a bit ago, did the whole sand/bondo thing, to where it looks nice and new now... I took the 1/4 panel off to do this. It wasn't too difficult, only a bunch of bolts to pull out. Well... I put it back on, and upon rrrebolting the hood back on, it doesn't close properly...
It'll close, by letting it drop, and openning it seems to be more of a pain as well... I can visibly see where the hood is hitting the 1/4 panel in the front, on the inside. It doesn't seem like it's the hood's problem... And the 1/4 panel is lined up properly...
So what's the problem... I plan on installing a new hood anywaysh, but I don't want that to have the same problem... I also plan on getting a new 1/4 panel as well... But the one on there looks well and good enough for now.
Any ideas?
Should I take them both off then remount them?
I don't know...
