the third brake light was only mounted on the window only in 86, so wouldn't that mean the 85 IROC got them in the spoiler too ?????

Not sure but dont think 85 had them period. I think that the law requiring them was put in effect for 86.

86 had them on the outside of the window and 91-92 had them on the inside I believe.

My 87 IROC is exactly like that, but its black and doesn't have louvers. I even have the "rare" ( ) automatic rear-view mirror. Wow!

I'm not trying to be an a-hole, but nothing on that car is rare except the color.

i too had an 87 iroc with the rare auto rear veiw mirror before my car met the damn light pole .
anyway, yes i am sure about the paint being orange, and for the final time, it WAS orange from the factory.
and yes i know the door handles/arm rests are easy to swap, because i am an electronics tech at the body shop i work at, so i take door panels and dashes apart all the time.

thanks
anthony

I dont know, but from what I gather I dont think this @ZZKKER guy knows what he is talking about. As far as the color, I dont think anyone has argued that that wasnt an origional color for several days. I have also yet to see anything other than the color that is rare about it though.

momar, you are full of shiznit. :nono: and im not arguing that this car has rare options, but this is the first orange iroc with these options that i have seen, so it is rare around here.
