formula wheels!!!
hey guys i just finished one of the wheels on my 89 formula. i was going to polish them all but i started one and it was way to involved for me so i figured hey maybe i will just spray paint them, well i thought it would look liek **** but i striped them with the aircraft stuff then used this stuff clled wheel paint i got from pepboys and it came out completly awsome. it looks brand new and now cheap at all like i thougth it would. well i am just excited lol i will post pics soon

i just took pics yesterday actually but i have like 15 pics left and i am documenting my engine swap with the camera so it will prob be like 2 weeks till i post them. they look really great by th way but if u do it make sure u get all the clear off caus eon one wheel on the inside parts i had high spots from the clear and it bothers me. well my 305 tbi to 350 carb sawp should be done soon so i will get these pics up

You got that right it is a very hard job polishing wheels. I know I do it for a living. Your fingers got kinda sore didn't they from all the sanding. You have fun getting under your finger nails clean. I do parts polishing also. The new Lingenfelter LS6 intake is another fun job.

what color did you paint them? i think i am going to polsih mine to a lustery finish. may take a long time, but i think it would be WELL worth it in the long run. also i was considering iroc wheels, i like them

its a gray but its more silver-gray, i think they look alot better then the wheels stock when they asre good. it will def hold me over till i have enought for draglites, yea skinnys in the front and 15x10's in the back.
