Replaced window motor...something ain't right

ok, my driver side window motor was messed up, so i replaced...it was a pain and i should have secured the regulator a little better, the gear and my wrist had a close encounter....but i got lucky it was just scratches....oh yeah and replacing the nuts to install the motor in the door are a PAIN...but i got it.....

ANYWAYS, my problem,
everything is screwed in and my window rolls up and down, but when it rolls down. there is a sort of a rattle, its not really oud but you can easily hear the quick tat tat tat tat, what ever it is it also making the window vibrate....
someone told me the gear and the motor aren't lined up and i needed to adjust it, only thing is that you can't really adjust the position of the regulator with respect to the motor....
someone else told me something is probably bent....

if any of you guy could help me out i'd appreciate it...
thanks

If it is the same rat-tat-tat mine was making its seeing too much resistance or your spring is could up too tight. I had to bend the one long piece a little and did not get it bent back quite right on the reinstall. Does it not make that sound if you "help" the window?? If so that what it probably is.

well i notices something that made me think that it is the spring....my new window motor rolls the window down WAY faster than the passanger side, but it rolls up slower than my old passenger side window....
i will try "helping" my window and see what happens...
thanks for your help...
