Front end... Which fits which?

Front end... Which fits which?
Alright, I've had a few flops so far, but hopefully this'll prove to be useful...
My front end, bumper cover I've heard it called, is in pretty bad shape, I'm trying to bring it up from an accident at the hands of the former owner... The only problem is, that I can't find many out there. I'm not sure what to search for, exactly...
Just need to know which years will fit my '87. I've found a Front bumper cover for an '85, but it seems to be a bit small in looks. Looks can be deceiving, but I don't know. It's reasonably priced, but used...
Should I just order the part directly through my GM/Chevy dealer? Or take my chances with the other.
Any help/imput is welcome.

the front cover for the 85 should fit with minimal changes as long as it's a firebird. Trans am's are different due to the ground effects during various years. When you get down to it a Camaro front end would fit as both cars are built on the same chassis (it would require alot of work). I would stick with the junkyards/used parts right now as they are plentiful. The dealer's prices are rather high in my opinion.

Thanks for the imput
Thanks again, I didn't suppose it was too off. But as for the junkyards, well, the ones here are rather high priced as well. I'm not sure why, I suppose it's because there aren't very many to deal with.
I asked for the headlight assembly, and what they'd charge me... The price set was only $25 under the Dealership's... I dunno. I guess I'm just going to have to make new friends at the Chevy place!
Thanks again
