Which way is which

Another "just curious" question from the new guy, Has anyone tried mounting the hood hinges of thier Camaros to the front of the fenders and making a exotic car reverse opening hood?

do a search on "vette hood"

you'll find some pics, but no real info.

I dont think you can se the same hinges, you need hinges that were made to open that way, plus you need to lock the hood also.

Here's one pic i have, there is also another pic of a "purple/pink" z28

I was thinkign if we can figure out how to do it hood pins would work, but i have no idea where to put them.

Try this

Why not go ahead and reverse the current hood hinges and then remove the the latch assemble and relocate it to the firewall, it would take some working but at least your car already has the necessary components.
