what do u guys think of the "jegster" and summit racing seats
ya know how they are the same thing, they are the seats that cost 36.00, at that i might have to give them a try.. do they feel pretty good with the seat cover on them, im worried that they might be too cheap and will just bend like the desks at school if they get hot???!?!?!?
thanks for the info

My dad had them in his prostreet car. There nice seats with the covers on them, but there not the most comfortable seats I'll tell ya that. I didnt mind sitting them though. They wernt all the bad really. No they dont bend or anything like that. They are good though if u want to run roll bars and a harness. I was debating on those seats or 4th gen seats. If this is your daily driver I proly wouldnt get them cause of comfort, but its up to you.

No it wouldnt be ***** to do it, but it wont pass inspection at the track. You would have to put plates on the floor it bolt it down there. What do you guys think. Im thinking of getting these seats for my car. All black. Only thing I dont like is it dont recline.

igotslicks, I still think it's cheap looking. I'd rather see a cheap auto parts store set of seat covers over the original seats!
Did you ever look in junkyards for seats? Don't just look at f-bodies; look at all GM cars of those years. I found my car's original style seats (trans-am seats from '86, two-tone, separate head rest, map pocket in back of seat) in a Pontiac 6000 Station Wagon S/E! I knew they'd fit because they were the same seat, but I unbolted them from the wagon's seat rails, put my seat rails on the bottom of the seats, moved the "tilt-forward" mechanism from my seats onto the wagon's, and screwed my shoulder belt guide into the headrests- for a grand total of $20! ($10 per seat). So look at Cavaliers and Sunfires and Oldsmobiles and etc!
