After listening to alot of very good responses, from some great people on here; I deceided to buy a 4th gen center console and install it. I just got one off of ebay lastnight, from a "97 firebird", and will be able to make the swap, as soon as I get the carpet in. The advise I received on here will make the swap alot easier. This is just the first of many mods yet to come..........

4th Gen seats should be a direct fit. Just take out the 3rd gen seats and bolt up the 4th.

Since you say you're being serious, then yes, it's the 98 and up Camaro console with the swingout cupholder.

 

Now if I take my girlfriend's 4th gen console and seats out of her car, and put them in my car, and put my 3rd gen stuff in her car, will I get my *** kicked?

the 98+ console is the same in both camaro and firebird, just different colors. Firebird is black and Camaro is Charcoal. Food for thoguht, don't limit yourself. If you got a bird, get the camaro version cuase your dash is mostly charcoal/grey and it'll match better
