ok i have just got done reading all the articles on converting a hard top camaro to a t-top or targa top. there used to be this place close to where i live that did t-tops but they quit doing it a number of years ago when the company that made the kit went out of buisness. i was just wondering if any of you knows of a kit that i would be able to buy that would do this? maybe i could convince them to do the job if i found a kit? thanks a lot

You can do a search on the boards for targa top... there are a couple hundred posts about it most likely. Also the one banner above. GTAuto Accessories makes a targa top... Or they were working on one. It is just a hatch replacement though. Converting to ttops from a hardtop would be a pricy task. But it can and has been done.

I think you might be confusing targa top with notchback. GTAuto Accessories made a notchback for thirdgens, but I don't believe anyone makes a targa top conversion kit for them.

yeah you are correct... I see as I am going through my posts from last night I made a few mixs up... Sleepness and computers dont mix I guess. I linked the 2 because I read a post where someone wanted to do the targa top while they had the notchback on the car. Which is no biggie cause all it is, is a hatch replacement.
