notchback?
I was looking for a parts car to fix my camaro and i ended up finding one at a garage. It has a blown engine and it was in an accident. I only really need the front end and hood. It happens to have a notchback. Im not really too familiar with these. so i was wondering if you guys knew if this was an original from the factory notchback?? How am i supposed to tell?? Also the guy is willing to sell it to me for $400. should i do it? the interior sucks, but everything i need is in good shape except for a tiny spot of rust on the hood. I dont have any pics. do you think i'd be able to sell the hatch if i got it? thanks in advance.

Car: 85 Trans Am WS6
Engine: 305HO L69
Transmission: T5
$400 for the whole car? definately take that. you can sell anything on ebay. as for the notchback, if it's a camaro, then it definately wasn't original on that car. it could be a stock one from a notchback trans am, but i'm not sure how you could tell. either way, i'm sure you could get some decent change for it on ebay.

I went and looked at the car one more time and i think im going to get it. But i want to make sure i can use the front bumber and bumper cover. The parts car has the fog light assembly grill. My car does not. my car also has the dual snorkel intake but this other car does not. i wasnt sure if the airbox would fit with the fog light assembly in the way. does anyone know if it will???? I have to be sure before i buy this. Thanks.
