Do all of the third gen convetibles flex as much as mine? I'm ordering frame connectors but I wonder if they will be enough. If you go over a speed bump it feels like the windshield moves a foot. You can hear it too. My car is and 88 but it has never been wrecked. Do the newer thirdgens have more support?

make sure your doors are snug and properly aligned...
its likely you need to do something about the hinges and pins...

Try subframe connectors and a strut tower brace. I've read that a lot of people who got a STB really noticed a difference.

a nice set of sfc's with the crossbraces like the spohn's, an edelbrock 3 pt stb, and maybe even have someone fab up a shock tower brace if it will fit in a vert. No more flex

just don't do the 3 point stb b4 the sfc's. I've heard stories of windshields breaking.

Well, Id like to say that I just installed my $20 Jamex STB in the Vert the other day. All I can say is wow! I expected to notice a little, but its really amazing now. Granted, we didnt notice as much of a diff. in the hardtop GTA, but the convertibles can use all the reinforcments they can get.

BTW: What SFC's are you getting? Ive heard only the Kenny Brown ones will work, now that Alston doesent make them anymore.
