4th gen door panel speaker pods

Anyone know if the indicated part of this door panel is removable as a seperate piece, and could then be attached to a 3rd gen door panel??

You could cut the peice out but otherwise it is a part of the door panel.

why don't you put in the whole door panel ? they're direct-fit bolt in except for a little gap at the top sill

"alot of people have asked about this, you can see if you swap just the door panels then they hit the old dash, you can see the new dash has a grove in it to account for this"

i will just mount a tach there and cut off the nub at the top =D

Yes it is and it's available through Year One They are called "Map Pockets" and the ones with the 2 speaker grills for the UW2 10-speaker system runs $59.95ea. Part numbers are:
MP27-Drivers side
MP26-Passenger side

As far as how they mount, contact DJ Sexay in the car audio forum because he has a late model Firehawk and he's had his apart. Good luck.

John
