I am looking to change my 89 Camaro steering wheel with a newer 3rd gen steering wheel, the one with an air bag. My question is, is this possible and what would it take to remove the air bag and would the steering wheel still operate correctly and would there be any mods in doing this?

Any help would be appreciated.

The steering wheel itself will operate correctly. Zepher put a 95 ish camaro wheel in his car without the airbag. BTW if you want radio controls the 95 era monte Carlo's have the same wheel as the LT1 Camaros.
