I'll have this body kit on my car eventually. I'd have it now, but $8K is kinda outta my budget at the moment. I still need a tranny for my T/A.

I already have the engine that will match the looks of the EVO II.

Car: too many ...
Haven't done the interior ... actually dont even have the donor yet (thought I did but the guy sold the 91 Z be4 I could get my act together) I'm going thru some legal issues selling my truck to fund the project ... but anyway ... I was actually planning on doing a 98+ interior (dash, console, doors, rear seats) from a Camaro SS. It will match up well with the LS1 / T56 Combo ... so not planning on doing the EVO interior sorry. But I do plan on getting the EVO II kit with regular doors (not the insane doors) and no roof scoops ... i repeat no roof scoops .. hahahha

I'm still researching some other cool custom stuff ... a carbon fiber hood (exact replica of the EVO II SS style hood) and the wheels .. Boyd Coddington ... 18x9 in front (265/40/zr18) and 18x13.5 rears (not sure how wide of a tire that is .. 325? but I do know 40 series zr18) ... should look and drive nice with full suspension (dropped 1"). But yeah, when all said and done I will be really happy with the outcome even though certain ppl on this messageboards won't.

Performance wise, the 385 HP from the LS1 should back up the looks untill I can overcome the issues with the LS1 Motorsports turbo kit (then it will definately back up the looks). Basically the downpipe is going to mess up the K-Member so a little fabrication will be needed. Even with 385hp and proper drivetrain mods I should be able to get into the 12's (a good driver could prolly do 11's but im still a newbie @ drag) as the car will weigh below 3000 pounds.

WORKS FOR ME!!

damn you have it all planned hu?

im just planning on using my 305 with a better cam and some other things. i have sportlines to help out on the lowering part. i am going to keep it simple with the engine. i just might save some cash up and buy a 350 Ram Jet. im not rich so i dont know all the details yet... im still in my planning period.

those boyds soung good, but its going to cost alot with the proper back spacing. 325 for 13" wide??? no way.. more like 335 or bigger.. on my dads SS, he has the 17x11's and he runs 335's

yeah the scoops are gay... screw that.

how are you going to make a 98+ interior work? the windshield glass is different. its more rounded along with the dash. i would like to do this too if there is a kit for it. i dont want to spend forever fabricating things.

Eventually when I'm making the big bucks after schol I will go find a beat up f-body from a junkyard that still has good framework, suspenion and other goodies and toss a ZZ4 in or whatever. build that up and tear off all the body panels order a evoII kit and have a fast **** car. I'll probly figure out a dash idea to go with it too so it look good inside and out. Yes Dreams could come ture I guess.:lala:

I looked @ a possible donor today .... I think I'm going to make an offer but it means my plans will change. Its a 90 RS with a 383 crate motor, B&M supercharger, full drivetrain work (ford 9" rear and all), upgraded brakes and full suspension. The only thing wrong with the car is the paint is all fadded and messed up (no rust, no dents, no accidents .. just really fadded) so it will make a perfect donor. If the guy accepts my offer then I'll throw the LS1 / 98+ interior plans out the window. All I'll have left to do is the interior, sounds, EVO II kit, a new set of wheels and retune the suspension. Car could be complete alot sooner than I had expected!!
