I would like to add a shift light to my car without adding a monster tach too, I've seen shift lights in catalogs but I'm wondering how many people have them, I remember seeing car on this site that had a little one on the steering column, it looked great. How do you hook up the RPM-activated switch to run one? If anyone has pics please post 'em.

 

Hmm, shift light eh?

My 86 5.0 has an upshift light on the dash (on the right of the service engine light) but there is no bulb or holder in it, maybe you could put something there if you have that on your car. (was it for manual trans cars?)

 

Yes they where used on the manual cars from 89 and above.
