Need tire brand and size suggestions

I am buying ROH Snyper rims very soon. I am getting 17x9.5 for all 4 rims. I don't have alot of money for tires but I want some nice decent tires. Does anyone have suggestions for sizes and Brands? The car is not drove in the winter. Just the Summer months. I was thinking maybe 275-40-17

tires

i have a set of bridgestone potenzas re 730's on my 2000 ss...they handle good and do very well in the rain...just picked up a 92 z with bf goodrichs on them...they handles very well in the rain as well..road noise was a little louder then the bridgestones but not by much...the bridgestones ran me i believe around 170-180 a piece?..bought them at costco...oh 275x40x17 on the 2000ss all the way around...butttt 255x40x17 is about the largest you can go on the front..on the 3rd gen and im guessing you can go pretty big on the back...money and imagination the limiting factor...lol....im gonna go 255x40x17 on the front and 285x40x17 on the rear...more than likely bridgestones...later bro.

I put a set of the Dunlop 5000 SP's on my car a couple months ago and am very pleased with them so far. Wet handling is excellent and it sticks like glue to dry pavement. They also give a much better ride than the Kelly Charger VR's that were on it. By the way, these are the stock size tires, 245/50 ZR16.

Well folks I decided to go with the 17x9 Snypers
and
kumo 712 series tires
245/45/17 so I can rotate the tires.

Now I just have to make damn shure the
17x9's will fit up front with no rubbing. JDwheels
thinks it will rub.. Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks!
