Interior Carpet

Does anyone know if the carpet in the 87 Trans Am is the cut pile or loop carpet. I need to redo my interior, plus Classic only sells cut pile for that year. I don't know the difference between the two.
Thanks for the help

Cut pile just has individual threads of carpet fiber sticking up. Loop style carpet is just that, the thread they use is looped back into the base of the carpet. We've got cut pile in our cars, althought I think back in the day (50', 60's, etc), I think they may have used loop style, but I dunno.

If classic industries doesn't sell the carpet for $129 anymore, go to http://www.1aauto.com - they also sell the ACC carpet. That's where I bought mine... it was shipped to me directly from ACC's warehouse, and I received a bill in the mail (separately) from 1aAuto about a week later.
