Guess what i seen at the zoo(thirdgen related)
so im doing this project for my environmental science class and i get to these bunnies and look in there pen and guess what i see.I see a rear body of a thirdgen. no tailslights just metal from the rear to the floor pan. Basically it was the quarter panels cause i see where the hatch was suppose to be. they cut the quarters about half way up,there was no top bar than runs horziontal with the hatch. I just though you like to know what junked thirdgen were being used for. Also out of all cars they pick a thirdgen. One question though lets see who can anwser this. I seen one thing i don't think i have seen before on a thirdgen. I saw a stripe right below where the spoiler would be. it ran across the length of the car that was left. so my question is did camaros come with small stripes that ran the length of the car on the very top of the body?

the only part of the car was from the doors back with no top cross bar no hatch and the floor pan. but you could see the stripes on the quarter panels.

hmmmm, got me then
might have been a dealer installed thing, I know my girlfriends dad has a real nice pin stripe, actually barely noticable, but very nice, that was hand painted at the dealer without him even asking for it.

my 83 has a set of pin stripes (one is black and the other is blue) like that and my car is defiently not an IROC (unless they made v6 rocs in 83).. they almost wrap around the whole car (just behind the head lights, along the top of the doors, along the top of the hatch if looking at it from the back) im pretty sure it was a dealer option..

were the stripes one peice? did it wrap around the top, close to the top of the door, or down by the Ground Effects? Sounds like someone took IROC pin stripes and but them on the top of the door like the white stripe in that IROC i posted.

my SC had pin stripes on the top sides also, I'm pretty sure they came factory like that, there are also factory pin stripes that go from the front top sides of the camaro like the pic except the pinstrip curves up right after the window like this:

If you guys are talking about the pin stripes, then my 92 RS has tan ones. They are stock and run the whole length of the car. Also my friends 86 iroc has them too, but i'm not sure what color. Here is a pic.

IROC-ZVW it is more like a wing. they fit mustangs to. they aren't those GTS ones from summit. mine grab onto the hatch glass not like the ones you stick on with glue or tape. i bought mine from a guy in my town. If you wanna see more pics i think i have some.
