What is this bracket?
This is on my 91 Formula.
The last two interior panels I have to put back on are the driver's side underdash panels and I have a bracket that I'm pretty sure came out from somewhere in there (I really hope so at this point
). Sorry, I don't have a digital camera so I'm going to have to try to describe it:
The bracket is black metal. At one end is a flat piece with two slots about 1" x 3/8" each. At 90 degrees is a trapezoidal piece with a trapezoidal cutout at it's center (same shape as the piece). There is a tab that sticks out at 90 degrees on one side of the trapezoid. At the top of the trapezoidal piece, it twists upward and around, about 135 degrees. On the twist, there is a hole for a 1/4" bolt, then a 1" long slot (probably for another 1/4"), and then another 1/4" bolt hole at the end of the twist.
I am pretty sure that the holes in the twist are for 1/4" bolts but I'm not near the car or any bolts right now. The bolts may be smaller, but definitely not bigger than 1/4".
:hail: :hail: whoever knows what this is.

No, here it is, though. My brother gave me the idea of using the scanner with a plastic sheet to avoid scratches. Why didn't I think of that?
