I actually found the pics from another car on Cardomain.com There are a ton of Camaros but I only look for 1st and 3rd Gens and stumbled upon the pic you see above. If I can find it again I will post some more pics from it. I thought it was a little rediculous personally but thats just me. I think MX is right about the helmet though!

I haven't seen many with the subs located there that did much. I watched a 94 get metered a while back. He had 4 15" JL W6 subs mounted there, with exactly DOUBLE the amplification I had (he had a ZR600 amp for each pair of subs). He only beat me by 4dB. With 3x the cone area and 2x the power, he should have had me by 7-8dB (possibly 10 or more considering that my system is not tuned for SPL), but the great transfer function our cars have disappears when you cut the interior in half like that.

Sorry, but that looks like a$$. I have a good stereo in my Grand Prix, but it takes up little space, and it doesn't rattle anything, b/c I fixed it. That looks terrible. I can not stand a car that is half filled with speakers like that. If its for a competition, fine. But that isn't. It looks to hill jacked.

There was an article in Car Audio a lot of months back that had a Bronco that was pushing 40,000 watts. It had 40 Solo Baric L7's, and 40 RF Power 1000db amps. The structure of the truck struck me more than the sound capability. 3" thick windshield, 1" thick side windows. The truck weighed like 12,000lbs. Stereo's were really never my thing.

You need to have a balance of things, good sound, good looks, and good speed.

A camaro with 20 speakers, but yet it's slow, and the paint is peeling gets no credit from me, you need to have some sort of balance,

Look and Sound good while going fast.

That's my 2 cents

oddly enough, as much as you see these things competing, i think most of the high ranking ones only have like 2 subs. once again, i go back to the quote quality, not quantity. one really well built box and a couple really good subs will beat the "world's loudest camaro"
