anybody have pics of tint on back window in 2 pieces?
I'm working on tinting my windows, I tried it today on my side ones and they look like ****. so I gotta rip it off and do it again. but before I tint the back windows (and have to maybe rip it off) I wanna see if it even looks good in 2 pieces? any pics would be great! thank you

I know what you mean, and unless you line up the break in the tint with one of the defroster lines, it will look like crap.

Oh, yeah, and notice the little strip at the bottom between the defroster grid and edge of the hatch is tinted as well. The tint's three years old in this pic, so if some shop tells you they can't tint that part or it'll peel off quickly, then move on to the next shop: they're not good enough.

I have a solid piece on my rear window on my bird. IMO a solid piece is the way to go. If you can't tint it with a solid piece,take it to a shop that will,you will be much happier with a solid piece. How many times did I just say solid piece? Oh well

one peice :)
I got mine done with one peice professionally. 50% all around. only cost $200 for back and sides, and it came with a 10 year gurentee. No problems with them so far, 9 years left with no worries.

If you do a 2 or even 3 piece, done right, you will BARELY be able to see the break. My 87 was a dual piece, and you honestly couldnt tell. I agree with having them joined at the defrost lines, helps alot too. I definitely like the look of a 1 piece better.

thanks guys, I'm actually giving up on tinting the windows myself and I"m going tommorow to have em put some one. 35% on the front and a solid piece of 20% on the back. I'm hoping it'll look good on my car. thanks for the help
